When you register for TriLabs Buildathon 001, we collect: your name, email address, phone number, college/institution name, and payment transaction details. We also store your payment screenshot solely for verification purposes.
How We Use Your Information
- To verify your registration and process payment confirmation
- To communicate event updates, schedule changes, and important announcements
- To issue participation certificates after the event
- For marketing and promotional use (team name, project name only — not personal contact information)
- For statistical reporting on hackathon participation (aggregated, anonymous data)
Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely on our encrypted cloud database and infrastructure with strict access controls and row-level security enabled. Payment screenshots are stored in a private storage bucket and are only accessible to authorized TriLabs administrators. We do not store your payment credentials or UPI PIN.
Data Sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal data to any third party. Your contact information will not be shared with sponsors, partners, or any external entity without your explicit consent. Anonymous participation data (e.g., total number of participants, college distribution) may be shared publicly.
Data Retention
We retain your registration data for 12 months after the event for certificate issuance and alumni outreach purposes. Payment screenshots are deleted 30 days after the event. You may request deletion of your personal data by emailing hello@trilabs.in.
