Terms & Conditions

Last updated: July 2026

1. Eligibility

Participation is open to everyone! Whether you are a student, independent developer, designer, creator, or innovator — anyone who wants to build and ship impactful projects is eligible to register. TriLabs reserves the right to verify registration details and disqualify any team that provides fraudulent information.

2. Team Composition

Teams must consist of 1 to 4 members. Solo builders as well as teams of up to 4 members are fully supported. The team captain is responsible for the registration and serves as the primary point of contact.

3. Registration & Payment

Registration requires a one-time payment of ₹600 per team via UPI. Your spot is confirmed after successful payment verification by the TriLabs team. Submitting a false transaction ID or payment screenshot is grounds for immediate disqualification.

4. Refund Policy

The registration fee of ₹600 is non-refundable once payment has been confirmed. In the event that TriLabs cancels the hackathon, full refunds will be issued to all confirmed teams within 7 business days.

5. Participation Risk & Liability Waiver

Participation in TriLabs Buildathon 001 is at your own risk. TriLabs AI & Tech Solutions, its founders, employees, and volunteers are not liable for any personal injury, loss of property, or damage occurring during the event. By registering, you waive any claims against TriLabs related to personal injury or property damage during the hackathon.

6. Code of Conduct

All participants must maintain respectful, professional behavior throughout the event. Discrimination, harassment, intimidation, or disruptive behavior of any kind will not be tolerated and will result in immediate disqualification without refund.

7. Intellectual Property

You and your team retain full ownership of all intellectual property created during the hackathon. TriLabs does not claim any IP rights over your project. By participating, you grant TriLabs a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to feature your project name, description, and demo in promotional materials.

8. Project Requirements

All projects must be original work created during the hackathon (existing open-source libraries and tools may be used). Projects must comply with all applicable laws. The judges' decisions are final.

9. Media & Recording

TriLabs may photograph and record the event for promotional, marketing, and educational purposes. By participating, you grant TriLabs permission to use your likeness, name, and team name in event-related promotional materials across all platforms, without compensation.

10. Amendments

TriLabs reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via email to all registered teams. Continued participation after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
